Join us at the Festival of Scouting Experience. This is a community event put on by Ventura County Council, Boy Scouts of America and our volunteers to show what Scouting is all about!! Festival of Scoutng is Saturday, November 4, 2023 and is FREE for all ages - boys and girls! Families who want to learn more about Scouting are encouraged to come and participate. It's going to be a great day of #ADVENTURE.
Festival of Scouting 2023 is at the C.J. Daily Ranch and will feature:
- Earn your Bobcat
- Egg Drop from the top of the SCOUT STORE
- Raingutter Regatta: Witness the excitement as mini sailboats race along water-filled raingutters. Scouts and participants alike can test their craftsmanship and sailing skills in this thrilling competition.
- Scoutcraft
- Spud Derby: Unleash creativity and design skills by crafting unique and imaginative vehicles out of potatoes. The Spud Derby showcases the innovative thinking and resourcefulness that scouting encourages.
- Games and More!!!
Festival of Scouting welcomes all guests, Scouts and Scouters! Come experience how strong Scouting is in Ventura County! Be a part of this unforgettable day that celebrates the rich heritage and future potential of scouting.
FREE for all Ages!!
Attendees are encouraged to engage in the "Good Turn Service Project" by brining a canned food item, Demonstrating the ethos of giving back that scouting emphasizes.
