Zachary Zernik Memorial Scholarship

The Turkey Day Dash is excited to present the Zachary “Zack” Zernik Memorial Scholarship. Awarded in conjunction with our annual Thanksgiving run/walk, the prize will go to two high school students who demonstrate an interest in community service, environmental stewardship, music and/or athletics. Winners will be announced on the day of the race (November 28, 2024) and receive a $500 award to put toward their education at a college or trade school. The scholarship is named for Zack Zernik, a Thousand Oaks native and lifelong Dasher who passed away in 2023 at the age of 22.
